Our en suite cabanas are available as family rooms for up to 4 guests or double and twin rooms. They are decorated in keeping with our "barefoot sophistication" motto, and all rooms open up onto a wrap-around balcony from where to view our beach and ocean, mountains or natural fynbos.
PiliPili Beach Front Restaurant is located in Sedgefield, a quaint seaside village set in the lakes district between the towns of Wilderness and Knysna on the Garden Route of South Africa.
Our restaurants offer fine, unpretentious food in a relaxed atmosphere. The pizzas are freshly prepared, thin based & wood fired, the ribs are famous, the seafood is amazing – oh, and the beers are ice cold. It’s the perfect spot to recharge or unwind after a days’ adventuring.

The Swahili word PiliPili literally means "pepper pepper" and refers to the African Devil, African Birds Eye or African Red Devil Chillies.
“Great food, chilled vibes”
Great place that we stumbled upon, great find. Right on the beach front. Food was amazing, really fresh & delicious. We even ordered the dessert pizza... Wow!!! We will definitely be visiting there again.

We had an amazing evening on the beach. Lovely bon fire to keep you warm and amazingly good food. The dessert pizza is an absolute treat! We had a lovely waitress and really enjoyed the experience! We had the bucket, which was delicious!
Laid back with a great atmosphere
Wasn't sure of this before we arrived - the menu made it look like a basic beach bar. in a way it is - you at tables sit with your feet on sand and in the evening with a roaring wood fire with flames 2m+ high, but the food, service and wine were all excellent, and easily of good restaurant quality. They have a wood fired pizza oven which seemed popular (we had other dishes). Even in winter there was a great atmosphere and excellent service. Well worth a try.

A great sand between the toes eating experience
A busy spot over Christmas, but we managed to get a table. They didn't have Mitchells craft beer which was a let down, and the beer on tap wasn't ice cold, but the experience of having lunch with sand between your toes is great. We had fish and chips. The chips were ordinary but the fish was very nice - the batter was particularly crispy. A nice lunch spot.
